I make beer and write about it. Beer Craft: A Simple Guide to Making Great Beer, written with and designed by Jessi Rymill, will be published by Rodale this spring. I used to write about art, design, and architecture, and still do, between pints. I've been a blogger for Fast Company, a reporter for NPR, a book editor, and I was senior editor of I.D. Magazine until it folded. I cook Colonial American recipes, I like dioramas, I fly fish, and I ride bikes. If I'm not home, I'm on the roof or at the bar.
