Join us for this fun and hands-on class where you’ll learn to make one of the most popular Mexican street foods: empanadas.
We'll start by making the corn dough from scratch, which is the essential piece to bringing this recipe to life. Guests will have 3 recipe options to choose from: cheese, veggie, and ground beef empanadas. Fillings will be made and prepared by the guests depending on their choice. Once the dough pockets are filled, they will be fried to crispy perfection. From the sauces to the garnishes, you'll enjoy a little taste of Mexico in NYC.
No experience is required. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
NOTE:
Cancellation or reschedule request has to be made at least 5 business days before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 16 business days for groups of 6 people or more.

However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place because we understand things could happen.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
