Jenny Lee Fowler

Teaches at New York Botanical Garden

Jenny Lee Fowler is a freelance artist specializing in private commissions, illustration, exhibition, and instruction. She snips traditional freehand silhouette portraits and original paper cuttings with lively detail from forest, field, and folk. Jenny is a regular contributor to Taproot Magazine. Her work is mentioned via Design Sponge, Martha Stewart Living, House Beautiful, Better Homes and Gardens, Garden Design, NY Times and other print and online venues. She designed five of the Hudson Valley Seed Library's Art Packs, was the recipient of a Spring Creek Project Collaborative Retreat, and was an artist-in-residence for the grand opening of the Walkway Over the Hudson. Jenny has been teaching all ages in a variety of settings for over two decades. She currently runs Kitchen Table Arts, a workshop series that brings working artists to the table for diverse fine and folk art experiences with local youth. She is a graduate of Bard College (BA Anthropology, 2000).
