Wonderful experience. I learned so much in just 5 classes. The space was great too. Definitely taking the fall course.
Great! The class was well-organized and inspiring. Thank you Rose!
Loved this class. Easy to follow and super informative. Was very impressed with the flowers and supplies that were provided. Took home a beautiful bouquet and a lot of useful tips that I can actually use.
The teacher was outstanding.
This class was not very helpful to take individually (not part of the 3 course day) as some questions that were asked of the instructor was given the answer of "that will be covered in the next class after this one today." I was not taking the additional classes so felt like I was missing out on valuable information. Also, the instructor simply read the slides out loud and barely added any additional info that was not listed there. It would have been a better use of time to just be send the slides to review on my own and then come equipped with any questions for a discussion with the class.
I learned a lot and the teachers were excellent.
Instructor, Gary is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I loved it. Recommend to all who wants to connect with nature. Smaller class than expected so unexpected bonus for me. I think that a good knowledge about the wild life, foraging and plants is essential so these type of classes are just right for me. I was always interested in mushrooms and think that for something like this getting a first hand experience is a must something you can't get from books or online. You need experts to learn from first hand. Opened my eyes to a broader world that we live even in the heart of NY metro area. Yes, we found some mushrooms and had loads of fun exploring Central Park as second part of this course with a brand new perspective was also refreshing take on vegetation right here in city.
Very good class, hands on and entertaining. Somehow the description was a bit misleading, made me believe I would come back with a container already planted. But I got my plant as a gift at least!
The teacher was lovely. The course got started 20 mins late and most of the attendees were part of a day long group. Within the day long class they broke it up into three other smaller classes. It was a weird experience.
I learned a lot. Looking forward to many more courses at NY Botanical Garden.
