Teacher came late, students helped set up and bring materials from the car! Once class started good products were produced.
N. Woodson gave a fresh take on the art of making a Seasonal Bridal Bouquet. She nurtured the participants in the class, giving each participant the tips, hints & help they needed as the class flowed. The class was well- paced. This class was a winner!
Teacher Maria C was excellent as she led the class through an informative and well put together PowerPoint Presentation about the building and care/keeping of succulent terrariums! The rest of the class time was put to excellent use in building them where she provided all the materials and circulated the room to help all students create their best work! Loved the class and loved the succulent terrarium that I left with - I will be taking this class the next time it is offered in January 2018! Highly recommended and great to do with a friend, group of girls, or on a date!
This is a full-day lecture, sitting in a classroom, listening to a teacher. The teachers are knowledgeable, and some of the content is indeed interesting. But overall, we were expecting this to be a hands-on, interactive and practical day of gardening techniques, tips and practice. We were not expecting this day to be a passive lecture day, with a lot of overlapping / repetitive content between the 3 sessions. Also unclear, what "materials" were involved? There was talk of a non-refundable materials fee (I assumed this was for plants, pots, soil, seeds, etc...) but no materials were given or used during the class. Better expectation setting could have prevented our disappointment.
Gary was great and I would sign up for any of his future classes! Learned so much.
the instructor was very good even though she was a bit unprepared.
Really enjoyed this class and meeting Livia Cetti - she is so talented and engaging. She is a great teacher and really knows how to make her craft so accessible to first time paper artists! Looking forward to trying this on my own and also taking another class with her.
Good class, but not enough time to complete a drawing, too many students for sufficient time with instructor for demonstrations, and inadeqate seats (without backs) and no instruction to bring a lawn chair. My back began bothering me immediately. I would have liked to finish my drawing, or at least get close to finished.
