It has been a delight and a challenge to bring fresh pies to Prospect Lefferts Gardens since March 27, 2015.
We have taught ourselves to bake better every day and grow with the palettes of the best set of regular customers in the city, and respond enthusiastically to that ever present question:
"What do I want to eat?"
Everything is made from scratch and even the most decadent of treats are wholesome. We offer the best coffee by Counter Culture Coffee and the best tea (in our giant mugs) by Kusmi Tea, and always try our best to bring local and exotic wine and beer to make your day even better.
Great experience with this class. It was very informative and the instructor, Alison really knows what she's doing. She was with us every step of the way and our pies came out great!
Loved the class! Alison was so helpful, patient and kind throughout the pie-making process. Will definitely be making more pies in the future!

Love Pels Pies. The staff and teacher were inviting, patient, and kind. Also the pies my husband and I made were among the best I've ever had! Excited to use the rest of my dough and the recipes again.
This class was SO worth it. Alison is a total joy and gave me SO many good pointers beyond just the basics of making a pie. I was able to pick what I wanted for filling and also got to take some dough home to try it out on my own. The pie I made was a total hit at Thanksgiving, and I am honestly not even usually a pie person but the crust was SO FRIGGING GOOD.
Teacher was excellent -- very fun and nice, and the pies were delicious. The only drawback was the cooking space fits only two people at a time so in a class of six we had to take turns.
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was fun, and our instructor was very knowledgeable with answering our array of questions. We have already recommended this class to a few of our friends.
Had such an amazing time at Pels with Alison. She was so sweet and open with us, and our pies came out amazing. The experience was educational (for those of us who aren't the greatest at baking) and so much fun. I would highly recommend to anyone.
